Gender based violence has been increasingly recognized as a serious health, human rights abuse and a development concern. Studies conducted in uganda and globally, confirm that sexual gender based violence has serious consequences especially for the girls’ and women physical, sexual and mental health as well as implications for the economic and social wellbeing of families and communities in uganda. This is among our priority areas. We promote harmony through initiation of various programs in the communities at different levels so that people live a violent free environment. We mobilize and sensitize the public and leaders about peace and violence against women and girls. We conduct these programs through seminars, media and community forums.
